U.G. Admission Guidelines for Select List – II

I. Schedule for Admissions to various U.G. (Hons.), B.Tech. & 5-Year Integrated P.G. Programmes for the Academic Year 2025–26

Note:
  • The University may announce further counselling schedule subject to the availability of vacant seats, if any.
II. Instructions to the Select List – II candidates
  1. The admissions under the Select List – II are provisional and subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions prescribed in the prospectus.
  2. If a candidate fails to pay the fee within the prescribed timeline, he/she will not be considered for sliding/admission subsequently.
  3. The inter se ranking of candidates with the same marks has been decided based on the following criteria:
    • First criterion: 12th standard or equivalent marks
    • Second criterion: 10th standard or equivalent marks
    • Third criterion: Age of the candidates (in days)
  4. The following documents in original along with self-attested copies should be presented at the Admission Desk at the respective Department for verification. All original certificates (except the Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate) will be returned after verification. (The candidates are advised to keep photocopies.)
    • X Std. or equivalent certificate/mark statement
    • H.Sc. or equivalent certificate/mark statement
    • Transfer Certificate from last institution attended
    • Copy of the Score Card of CUET(UG) – 2025
    • Copy of the Application Form submitted at the University Portal for U.G. Admissions 2025-26
    • Latest caste certificate from Competent Authority: SC/ST Pondicherry/Karaikal Residence certificate (if applicable)
    • OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate or EWS certificate (issued after 01.04.2025) by Competent Authority, for OBC/EWS candidates (if applicable)
    • Disability Certificate issued by Govt. Hospital Medical Board (for candidates with Disabilities, if applicable). Certificate from Defence Department for Wards/Dependents of Defence Personnel (if applicable)
    • Recently taken two stamp size colour photographs (for Group Medical Insurance Policy)
  5. Admitted students are required to submit their Anti-Ragging Undertaking through the University Grants Commission (UGC) portal. The step-by-step procedure is provided at the University Portal:

  6. If during or after the admission process, any certificate/document submitted is found to be fake/fabricated/false, the admission will be cancelled without notice.
Payment of Fees:
  1. Refer Information Brochure 2025-26 for details of Fees payable.
  2. SC/ST candidates eligible for scholarships may pay the prescribed fees as soon as they receive the scholarship amount on submitting an undertaking at the time of admission.
    However, such SC/ST students must pay the Group Medical Insurance fee and Caution Deposit at admission time. In any case, these students must pay all fees within 90 days of admission, either by scholarship or on their own, failing which the admission will be cancelled.
  3. Hostel Accommodation: Hostel accommodation shall be provided to eligible students admitted to various programmes according to Hostel Rules and Regulations and instructions by the Hostel Authorities, subject to availability of rooms and payment of prescribed Hostel Fees.
  4. Regular classes for first year of the U.G. Programmes are likely to commence on 18.08.2025.
  5. Candidates admitted must register at the beginning of every semester as per Academic Calendar and Information Brochure for U.G. Programmes.
  6. Candidates who pay the admission fee but fail to report to the respective Departments for Certificate verification on or before 18.08.2025, will have their Provisional Admission under the Select List – II cancelled.
  7. In case of any dispute, the decision of the University is final. Any form of canvassing/malpractice will lead to disqualification/cancellation of candidature.
Steps for Online Admissions & Fee Payment through Portal
  • Select List – II candidates should pay the prescribed fees through the online Admissions portal (at Candidate’s Login/Dashboard) to confirm their offer of Provisional Admission to the U.G. programme.
  • Candidates must confirm their acceptance of the provisional admission by paying fees through the Admissions portal of the University. Failing to pay before the deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the provisional offer.
  • Candidates selected for more than ONE programme can pay for only ONE. Choose carefully before making fee payment.
  • A candidate selected for Admission into more than ONE programme, who has already joined a programme by paying fees but wishes to join a different programme, must discontinue from the admitted programme first. Only then will he/she be allowed to join the other programme as per Merit order.
  • Provisionally admitted candidates (course fee paid) must report in person to the respective Dean/HoD/Centre Head as per the schedule above, along with proof of fee payment, relevant documents, and original certificates.
  • Online Fee Payment: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, and UPI are supported payment modes.

Visit the University website regularly for any announcements / updates.

  • Admitted students who desire to discontinue must log in through the online Admission portal and choose CANCEL ADMISSION. Once discontinued, he/she will not be considered for re-admission to the same programme.
  • Cancellation will be accepted only through the online mode; no other methods will be accepted.
  • Refund of admission fees will be made as per the UGC Refund Policy, and only if the candidate has discontinued through the online Admission portal.
