Instructions
1. Admission to all P.G. &
P.G. Diploma Programmes of Pondicherry University (PU) for the academic year
2024-25 will be made based on scores obtained in the CUET(PG) – 2024 entrance
examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency and subject to
fulfillment of eligibility conditions prescribed in the Information Brochure of
the University. Admission will be considered on merit basis.
2. The interse
ranking of the candidates who have got the same marks will be decided based on
the criteria as given below: -
(a) First criterion: UG Degree
(b) Second criterion: 12th standard or
equivalent marks
(c) Third criterion: 10th standard or
equivalent marks
(d) Fourth criterion: Age of the candidates

3.
Candidates
shall visit the PU Admission Page and complete the application form through
online only.
4.
It
is advisable to fill the form through a desktop/laptop. Avoid filling the form
using a mobile phone.
5.
There
will be a one-time Application Fee (non-refundable): -

6.
The
online application process will be considered completed only after the
realization of the Application fee. The candidate must ensure that the
application fee is submitted only through the Pondicherry University admission
portal. Application fee deposited via any other mode will not be considered
under any circumstances.
7.
The
Application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, including if a
candidate is found ineligible for a Program at a later stage.
8. The candidate is advised to
check whether he/she satisfies all eligibility criteria for the Program(s) for
which he/she is applying and has appeared in CUET(PG)
- 2024 in the relevant Test papers fulfilling the Program-Specific eligibility
published in the Information Brochure.
9. If a candidate has applied
in the Pondicherry University Portal but doesn't fulfill the eligibility
criteria of any Program offered by Pondicherry University, his/her candidature
will not be considered.
10.
Suppose
a candidate did not appear or was absent in a Test Paper which is
mandatorily required for meeting the eligibility criteria of a particular
Program, in that case, he/she will not be eligible for admission to that
particular Program.
11.
Candidates
who could not upload the required certificate / documents shall upload a
handwritten Undertaking (on plain paper).
12.
Candidate
who could not upload the required community certificate at the time of filling
the application form shall specify the current date against the issuing date
and upload a Self-Undertaking Form (Download) in the Certificate upload.
The Candidate must produce the valid Community Certificate as per Government of
India Norms at the time of Admission.
13.
A
candidate whose documents are found to be invalid owing to willful forgery/act
of cheating will be debarred from admission.
14.
Programme-wise
Select List will be hosted in the University website.
15.
Candidates
are also advised to visit the University website regularly for latest updates.
