N.C.E.T. Programme Admission Guidelines for Select List – II

I. Schedule for Admissions to 4-Year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. & B.Sc. B.Ed. (Academic Year 2025-2026)

Note:

  • The University may announce further Counselling schedule depending on availability of vacant seats, if any.

II. Instructions to Select List – II candidates

  1. The admissions under Select List – II are provisional and subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions prescribed in the prospectus.
  2. If a candidate fails to pay the fee within the prescribed timeline, he/she will not be considered for sliding/admission subsequently.
  3. The interse ranking of candidates with the same marks will be decided on:
    • First criterion: 12th standard or equivalent marks
    • Second criterion: 10th standard or equivalent marks
    • Third criterion: Age of candidates (in days)
  4. The following original documents along with self-attested copies must be submitted for verification. All original certificates (except Transfer and Migration Certificates) will be returned after verification:
    • X Std. or equivalent certificate/mark statement
    • H.Sc or equivalent certificate/mark statement
    • Transfer Certificate from last institution attended
    • Score Card of NCET programme – 2025
    • Copy of Application Form from University Portal
    • Latest caste certificate as applicable (SC/ST/Pondicherry or Karaikal Residence)
    • OBC Non-Creamy Layer or EWS certificate (if applicable)
    • Disability Certificate from Govt. Hospital (if applicable)
    • Certificate from Defence Dept. for Wards/Dependents of Defence Personnel (if applicable)
    • Two recent stamp size color photographs (for Group Medical Insurance Policy)
  5. Admitted students must submit their Anti-Ragging Undertaking through the UGC portal as guided on the University website.
  6. If any certificate/document submitted is found fake/fabricated/false at any time, the admission will be cancelled without notice.
  7. Payment of Fees: Refer Information Brochure 2025-26 for detailed fee structure.
  8. SC/ST candidates eligible for scholarship may pay fees on receipt of scholarship after submitting an undertaking. Group Medical Insurance fee and Caution Deposit must be paid at admission time. Fees must be paid within 90 days or admission stands cancelled.
  9. Hostel Accommodation: Provided to eligible students based on rules and seat availability upon payment of Hostel fees.
  10. Candidates should register at beginning of every semester as per Academic Calendar.
  11. Candidates who pay fees but fail to report for certificate verification by 21.08.2025 will have admission cancelled.
  12. University’s decision on any dispute is final. Canvassing/malpractice leads to disqualification.

Steps for Online Admissions & Fee Payment through Portal

  • Select List – II candidates must pay prescribed fees online via University Admission portal to confirm provisional admission. Failure to pay by deadline cancels the offer.
  • If selected for more than one programme, pay fees for only one after careful decision.
  • Candidates admitted to one programme but wishing to join another must discontinue first and then join as per merit order.
  • Provisionally admitted candidates (fee paid) must report in person as per schedule with proof of fee payment, original documents.
  • Online payment supports Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking and UPI.

Cancellation / Withdrawal of Admission

  • Admitted students who wish to discontinue from the admitted programme must login to the online Admission portal and choose CANCEL ADMISSION. Once discontinued, re-admission to same programme is not allowed.
  • Cancellation is accepted only via online mode through the portal.
  • Refund of fees will follow UGC Refund Policy and processed only if discontinuation is through online Admission portal.
